And to further assist you we have listed the top 5 Do’s and Dont’s of link-building in 2016. Enjoy your read!

# 1 – Don’t use the same anchor text for all your backlinks, instead diversify and diversify some more!

The days of having 1 anchor text for an entire SEO campaign are over and most likely will get you penalized by Google with the infamous “unnatural link profile” message received in web master tools. To prevent this we suggest you use the following ratio’s for your anchor text:

Raw URL:  40%

Keywords: 40%

LSI / Generic: 20%

# 2 – Don’t use automated tools for your tier 1 links, do them manually.

Although once highly successful, tools such as SEnuke are now dead and now considered by Google to be “low quality” and “spam” in nature. Even tho this may sound a bit harsh it was only a matter of time until Google caught onto these automated tools that allowed black-hatters to rank brand new website within days of registering. What we suggest is that you create all your tier 1 links that point to your main money site by hand and manually. This way you will leave minimal footprints and not raise a flag on Google’s radar. # 3- Don’t post on the same domains more then a few times, instead aim to post on a large variety of domains. The higher your referring domain count the better!

Getting 100 links from 1 website is way less effective then getting 1 link from 100 different websites. This means the once infamous site-wide links and blog roll links that were ever so powerful are no longer effective and can now be spotted by Google and penalized. So please avoid buying any homepage links that will be posted on all 5,000 pages of the website and its sub-pages. This will only raise a flag whenever Google rolls out the next algo update.

# 4- Don’t post unreadable spun content. Use unique content embedded with pictures and videos.

Using 1 article and spinning it 2o times to get 20 copies is no longer effective and will only cause you to waste more time then if you were to originally have written the articles from scratch. Furthermore, the more unique the article the faster it will get indexed in Google and the better chance it has in getting link-bait from other bloggers and readers.

# 5 – Don’t use private blog networks, aim for guest blogs and web 2.0′s.

Popular private blog networks like AMR have now been detected and de-indexed by Google causing thousands of web masters to losing their rankings overnight. To avoid this trap we suggest you only post on credible and reputable websites that won’t be taken down anytime soon.
